River Dulas Walk

A circular walk starting from the beach at Llandulas, with the start following the route of the North Wales Coastal path. The route is well signed. The walk can be completed in either direction but we recommend taking the walk in an anti clockwise direction.

Terrain: Due to the uneven surfaces and steep gradients, the paths are not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs. Craig y Forwen is exposed and as with any mountain environment, the weather can be unpredictable. We recommend you wear stout footwear and carry warm, waterproof clothing to get the most enjoyment from your walk.

Distance: 5.6 kilometres, 3.5 miles.

Time: about three hours.

Paths: Pavement, grass, with some uneven and wet ground near the river.

Kissing gates/stiles. Several.

Dogs: Please keep dogs under close control at all times.

Map: Explorer OL17.

Start and finish grid reference: SH781826, Llandulas Beach

Refreshments: The Valentine Public House
